A Boy Walks Home Alone At Night is the first proper comic I've made and published, adapted from a short animated film I made back in 2019 to celebrate it's almost-one-year anniversary!

After missing the last bus, a young boy has no choice but to make his way home by walking through a shady street alone late at night.

Have you ever had the misfortune of having to walk somewhere alone in the middle of the night? I did, and I've made a comic about that. I've always taken buses to and from uni. I often leave uni so late that the next bus won't arrive until the next half-hour, at the least. 

Sometimes,  it never arrives (especially if it's the last one for the night). This means I am forced to walk all the way home and risk coming across a lone stranger. Thankfully, that didn't happen because I'd like to think that I've a guardian angel accompanying me to keep me from being nervous. That, or I happen to live in a very safe neighborhood :)

Although it is a very straight-forward adaptation with literally the same shots, it features new scenes that weren't in the original short. If you had already seen the short, these new scenes will be a neat bonus as it further expands the plot! If you haven't already seen it:

This comic is part of Vol 5. of the comic anthology series MYTH, which is published by the Curtin Illustration Club and consists of various comics from Curtin University illustration students, myself included.

The MYTH anthology is available to purchase in print form (this is the only way to read my comic in physical form, for now), and is only sold at conventions/stalls in Perth, Australia.
